I just tried to e-mail pizzaman, and it said he exceeded his e-mail storage quota. I know what this means, though: I can't e-mail him because he has too many saved e-mails. What sucks is that I can't even PM him that I can' PM him! So I thought of a solution.
50 PMs is a lot to have saved. Anyone who knows how to delete e-mails shouldn't be having that many. After a month or so, your inbox is filled (if you're a very active CoolROM user). So I was thinking: Maybe someone should make it so that every time you send a PM to an user who has too many PMs to receive it, the PM successfully gets to them in turn for the oldest saved PM in their inbox being deleted.
I know: Some PMs are needed for reference. But that's not good enough for making it so we can't PM each other. We shouldn't have to request them to delete some of their old PMs all of the time in their Inbox in a new post when this can take effect. If they need their oldest PM for reference, they'll store a copy of it as a file on their PC or removable disk or something like that. If they don't do that and they have no way of getting the information back...I would say that is extremely rare compared to the failure of PMing users and that that is no reason to not fix this problem for good.
Well, how's this sound to everyone?
