Hmm...good suggestion. For the user that started the thread, of course. I have come across that problem before I became moderator. Plus, I would change the thread icon for threads I've already posted if I could. Once you've posted the thread, must the settings be permanent?

ya ~ this option is quite useful for users. for example if an users ask a question then he gets the answer later,so he can add on words on the title "i have gotten the key~ thanks" then we do not need to read the thread to help him.

i want to change my title due to my wrong word.....:mad2:

Moderators can, but unless you want to PM them, I would wait for the administrator to reply here about your suggestion.

Well it's ok, we all make mistakes. I do not think it will be easy to add this feature for non mods, but I'm not totally sure.

Hey yuyu. Are you suggesting to give non-moderators the ability to rename threads? If so, I don't really see a need for that, as the moderators can do that themselves :). Please let me know if I mistakened you.

Please let me know if I mistakened you.I'm not sure, but I think yuyu's wants to be able to rename his/her own threads rather than threads not started by yuyu. For example, I think we can add a poll to threads we start, but other users can't, unless they are moderators...I think.

But yes, it is risky and unnecessary to grant users not moderator of a certain forum to rename threads within it not created by them.

But I may be being assumptious. I was just giving my opinion.
