No$gba 2.6a + NO$Zoomer utility

NO$Zoomer allows you to play in full screen while changing the size ratio of the dual screens this is useful for games such as pokemon, FF, Zelda, etc, since you can make one screen (the useless screen) smaller and the other one much bigger.
Also has many other features, making it the best utility for the No$GBA.

(Fixes the text issue in FF IV making the game fully playable, but the graphics are still pretty messed-up.
I find Pokemon and FF III to work close to perfection.)

If you are using Windows Vista you need to give No$Zoomer admin rights in order to work properly.

It doesn't support ROMs, but emulators are fine.

Emulators are fine since they only read the files and break no laws. You just can't post roms.

i think some games will save and some dont, Castlevania-the order of ecclesia does from what i heard and lots of other games

it should, if it doesnt save, try each save type in the emulator:EEPROM,FLASH,FRAM. and if it doesnt save, there's not much you can do other than importing the game onto a real DS with some kind of flash card

maybe i should stop getting so wasted at the computer,but last night i was playing the No$zoomer and everything was cool.professor layton and some ff. anyway i wake up today and the emu works fine but if i load the utility it just opens and says "now loading" forever and then stops responding. anybody else having this happen?:confused:

Not a clue. Delete it and set up a fresh one.

i did that like 5 times and was frustrated. then i got the bright idea to restart my computer and wah-lah! so i am golden...again. that is a wonderful readme by the way.:D

Did you set it up correctly. Disable all the extra fixes from Other->EXTRA->Deselect All EX

You mean Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings? That one worked for me when I tried it out.

EDIT: You were talking about Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. I didn't try this one, though I have it on my hard drive. I didn't really liked the Advanced tactics so I guess that's the reason.
I'll see if it works for me, not now though.

just figured i would spread the word(don't know if it is needed or not) but i used the phantasy star fix in effects and the game ran good but just a little slow. so i took off #3 and for the most part the game runs perfect now. anything more and it is super slow. less and menu text stays on the screen when it shouldn't. haven't played it all the way through but i might start tonight. oh yeah, i am talking about final fantasy IV.:)

There are some tweaks you can do to get FF4 to work better. I only got some graphical glitches at the battle screen.

Hey guys, whenever I play Animal Crossing, the bottom screen won't show anything. It's just a solid blue background, but no 3d rendered graphics show up. Text bubbles appear normally, though. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Just tried to dl this and AVG quarantined it saying it contained "Trojan horse Generic17.AYPA"

Like the other poster said this could just be a false positive but I thought I'd let you know.

*sigh!! the No$GBA "emulator" itself CAN sometimes (not all times) act as a trojan. it has to have (partial/limited) access to ur virtual memory and ram. this depends on: 1.) your OS: 2.) what kind of graphics card u have: 3.)what kind of game ur running in the No$GBA&No$zoomer combo pack.
*any emulator you get runs the risk of being detected as trojan/backdoor virus program. i would suggest simply adding a "allow" rule in your anti-malware software. such as in the case of avg and norton 360; who love to classify anything (not reconized by either one) as a possible threat.
*emulators do not or will not compromise your over all OS, RAM or virtual memory; as in all cases the functions of the emulators only exist to run the roms/isos/save files you have selected.
i have done extensive work on emulators including coding and debuging. crashes yes, graphical errors yes, fps glitching and crazy slow time roms; yes!
never once have i experienced any emulator sabatoging my computer system.
*However!! No$zoomer is a separate application meant to run along-side/along-with the No$GBA emulator. as of this post i am re-testing the No$zoomer application within the No$GBA emulator.
i already added the "allow" rule for this application into my AVG software. nothing especially bad has happened yet. as of the first initial test, it showed some graphical errors. but i was running a 1990's style GBA game. as the golden rule dictates i must run the same test on all GBA and NDS games. this may take me awhile as i have over 25gigs of GB, GBA and NDS ROMS!
*to be on the safe side, test each game carefully and always re-run ur antimalware to check ur entire computer. something to look for: constant crashes, computer freezes or lock-ups. these are usually the fist symptoms of a bad rom file (or a virus). do not assume it's a virus/trojan/malware. try to reload another rom. reinstall the No$zoomer app. last but not least delete the No$zoomer app and keep the No$GBA emulator.
*last but not least: all my games are dumped from original cartridges or cd/dvd's, and are only kept for backup purposes. please do not ask me for any of my dumped cartridge roms/cd/dvd iso's! as i will simply not give them to you! they are mine! Unless you are willing to give me full props and recognition as your Emulation GOD!!
