Gens Speed Up

Just need a little help with the Gens emulator of the Sega Genesis
I was playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 a little earlier and my cell phone rang and when I picked it up I dropped it on the keyboard. Now it seems to have sped up all my genesis ROMs about 10 times and theyre pretty much unplayable now.
I already removed all the files and re-downloaded but it still has the problem.
Can someone help please?

The problem is not the ROM, it's the emulator. It probably has a key to speed up the game. In snes9x it's the + key. I guess it should be something like that. Try figuring out which key is it.
Or you can just get a fresh copy of the emulator.

Yeah, that's what I figured but just wanted to confirm haha thanks though. I just got gens+ and it's working fine for me

Yeah I have Gens and I find that you can go into the CPU and click Frame Skip (or Rate) and put it on Auto. anything else will speed it up.
