I sincerely doubt it. You need a PS2 emulator, I guess. PlayStation CDs are not formatted for your PC. Why don't you try it out before asking to find out for God sake?
CM, do you think you should move this thread to one of the emulation forums? Harger: Don't you think you're developing a habit of starting too many threads in the General Chat forum?

*dances*
*with a straight face and a dealy serious tone* I'm a monkey.
I can solve yer problem right here, right now!
Playstation games can be read with a normal CD drive. They cannot be played on the PC without an emualtor.

WTF??!! Is this a joke?
I mean I know that may sound mean, but seriously, have you even read anything bout anything you are trying to do? yournot even talking about the same thing. PSX and PS2 are two different systems. and a PC is NOT a PS2. Just like a friggin toaster is a deep fryer. Thats like me posting a thread asking is i put a dreamcast cd in an xbox wiil it play? Use your common sense. ther is more than enough info already posted to answer this. You just have to actually LOOK IT UP and read first. I mean if it was that easy why the hell do we even have emulators think about it

Lol, no that is not possible, at all.
You can only burn them with the computer, but not play them.
You can read PS2 dvds in a dvd drive, but you can't do anything with it. When someone makes a PS2 emulator then you'll be able to, but until then...

Yea you can read them. The only thing you could do is burn them! But I'm not encouraging anyone. :nono:

It's such a hassle to rip PS2 games, it's not worth the trouble. Personally I just copy my games onto my playstations hard drive so I don't need to bother with the discs.

That would be useful. I don't really want to buy a hard drive for the disks. All I need is a mod chip, I know lots of people who have PS2 games that they'll let me borrow.

Have you ever looked into soldering a modchip into a PS2? It's scary looking. No way I could manage that without melting the PCB
