Hey guys, I'm sort of having a problem. Everytime I start to download something with my manager, the links to megaupload won't work. Is the site down? Or is it just my manager? Anyone how tried to download something from megaupload the last 24 hours, did it work? Or were there problems?
FD, if you're still on, does your manager still work?

I don't know about downloading, but when I go to the site the page loads really slow. I didn't think you were able to use a download manager with megaupload if you weren't a premium member, but I'm not sure. Were you able to download the link I PM'd you?

No, I'm using the best manager for megaupload. I could PM it to you. I've downloaded around 50 links already, all around 200mb each. It works fine, so I think it's the site. I'm right in the middle of a 18-part download! I must finish!

The uploader also is getting a Euro version of N64 ROMs. I can't wait! :D

Not to bash MegaUpload or anything :). If you guys don't already know, I have opened a new file hosting and delivery site called www.FileSend.net, which currently offers 250MB free upload space with unlimited downloads. However, files that have not been downloaded for more than 15 days will be deleted, in order to keep our hard drives clean. Anyways, I was wondering if you guys can help me promote my new site :). I can also offer you more upload space if you require. Is there anything that I can do to improve my services? What do you think? :).

Awesome, I used it once when it was 100MB and it was WAY faster to upload and download from than megaupload. Now that it is 250MB I am going to use it all the time now!

If that is your site, and megaupload is down, I am definitely going to use it more often....Althought megaupload right no wis more popular, and we can't really control where we download from...
And Pizzaman, I didnt see that post, I was up that late, but I was trying to get mariokart to work with N64. We did get marioparty to work, but we got bored with it....stupid soul bite.....btw, you can check and see who is logged in to CoolROM if you put them on your CoolROM buddy list...

Holy smokes! I didn't know you can just make sites like that! I'll use if from now on, when I need to upload something. I did notice the advertisement on the top of the forum, but I never knew it was yours. Don't worry, if I have to upload something, I'll use FileSend.net.

I just look at the bottom of the main screen for the forum. It shows everyone who is logged on. I don't use buddy lists or whatever they are called.

You should, and you should open it in a new window. That way you can know who is on at all times by just glancing over. Right now, for instance, I know that CM isn't logged in. Now isn't that useful?

There are also little circles next to people's names. Those are online lights. If the light is green, then they are online. If it is grey, meaning off, they are offline.

Has anyone had problems with megaupload? Or know what is going on?

I have. The files upload really, really slow. They download way slower then before, as well....

If you guys are talking about the "Who's Online" link, you can just refresh the page. Things can change automatically as well, but I have a habit of refreshing the page...maybe F5.
Yes, FileSend.net has worked for me. I notice no change in uploading speed compared to MegaUpload.com (megaupload.com), but there are no pop-ups, ads, or any crap like that. The download link appears faster (especially since there is no crap in the process). The page is kept short, and everything is simplistic. No excessive Flash media or crap like that. No 'Members Only!' or bragging crap like that trying to get us to pay. The only disadvantage is that the link is inactive after 15 days instead of 28 or was it 31 days, the limit at megaupload.com. But that's OK, because 15 days is long well enough to e-mail something to someone.
Was I the only one who saw the link at the top of the forums?

I saw it. But I assumed it was an ad and ignored it, as I do most ads. Besides, megaupload was what seemed to be popular. But it is cool that admin can just up and make a site like that. If I knew it was his, I would have use dthat instead.
Hey admin, maybe put, from the maker of CoolROM.com at the top, right under the link to FileSend.net?

Sorry to correct you pizza, but we delete files after 15 days without a download (inactivity). If you guys feel that this is not long enough, please let me know and I can change it. I just don't want to overload my server, as I have limited space :).

I can crack a few links. I found five JavaScript documents. This is an XML document:

If admin doesn't have FileSend.net advertisements on other sites, I see that as probable. I suggest first making an animated (Flash) advertisement for FileSend.net (Iconoclast, Fierce Diety and possibly pizzaman can probably help with this if admin needs assistance) and then putting the advertisement on other sites. Also, a link to coolrom.com on filesend.net may bring more people to coolrom, if that is desired.

What are these JScripts you are getting? They seem to do nothing. What are you cracking? Why? Mysterious, indeed.

These JavaScript documents add functions in different ways to these forums. I will post four out of the five:
http://www.coolrom.com/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_global.js
http://www.coolrom.com/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_menu.js
http://www.coolrom.com/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js
http://www.coolrom.com/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_attachment.js
You asked, so I confess. I browsed through these files using Notepad to see if I could find out how to post in closed threads and, with minimal interference, find user passwords. But I would never log in as an user and post messages for them. The most I would ever do in someone else's account is edit a post with bad grammar or something like that. If I was really going to do anything malicious with such information, I wouldn't be posting this. I honestly haven't found anything! When you log in, there MUST be something in the HTML telling your web browser if your login info is valid or not! I didn't find any user info index file related to in any way by these forums. Does it just pull user info magically out of thin air?!? Anyway, I'm going back to...'work'.

Iconoclast, that is sort of what I mean, and sort of not what I mean. Let me explain this in other words.
When you click on a download link/Properties/Adress or Location, then you get the direct link. Where does this link come from though? The server, right? Well how can I make it so I back my hard drive up onto a server? Is that possible?
