Well we should have a thread here somewhere on what's protected, i'll see if i can find it, but for the most part it's just high profile ones like mario and castlevania.

I could dig up a list, but to be honest there isn't enough space, basically it's every game released in the english language, and a few fan translations to boot.

It extracted fine for me with 7-zip, no idea why it doesn't work for you.

I noticed these are .7z files. Are the ROM files within just the ROM files, or are they in zipped folders, or are they all .7z?

Also, do these contain strictly [U] ROM files, or does it contain all of the [E] and [J] as well?

7z files are files that have been compressed. Get 7-zip and you'll be able to extract the files.

Sorry, must have mis-understood the question, yes they're the rom files, though I have had a few that extract into rar but those where only in split archives to date.

That's pretty much what I was trying to ask. I was hoping for the ROM to be within the .zip which is within the .7z.

I'm not disappointed. I was hoping for .zip within the .7z. As it turns out, thanks to tatsuya verifying it for me, that that's exactly what it is. GameGeeks said otherwise, however, which is why I was momentarily disappointed.

A LOT of Tats filesend links seem to be down.

I think a few people are gonna have to add either new sets or, if they downloaded the original file, upload mirrors as a LOT of his files are dumping. (Was bored, so checked them.)

Yes just US games, I just checked about 50 of them. Not a bajillion majohng games =p

Thanks for all the uploads BTW, I have plans on making a nice MAME cabinet this summer. My plan is to have pretty much every 8-16 bit game on it. I figured it was going to take alot of time to find all the Nintendo games, make checklists, ect. Now I just need some sega romsets =p

N64 Rom sets 2-4 are broken, and not providing a DL viable mirror. Doth thou posess thy old sets in tact? if so- a re upload is inorder me thinks.... would love to complete my set for N64 roms. currently only N64 romset # 1 is working.
