Question about saving in epsxe

Im wondering if i save with savestates , will it overwrite the saves i have from other games?

im using version 1.7 , and where are the save files?

The savestates are in a folder called sstates inside your emulator directory, and the memory cards are in a folder named memcards in the same directory.

ok thanks , does it overwrite a save from another game if i save in the same slot in another game?

With save states it's tied to the rom.
