Hi guys! I'm recently purchased a sumoto usb converter to use my n64 and psx controllers on my computer with emulators. I figured out how to work the n64 controller. But the psx emulator is giving me problems. When I try to map each control, I can get it to work the d pad and start button, but the x, square, triangle and circle buttons come up as "LSHIFT" wen I try to enter into the gamepad config. And when I try to press the "select" button, it acts as the keyboard's enter button.. does anyone know how to fix this and map those buttons with the controller plugged in? I'll provide any more info requested. thanks guys!!

It should read the psx controller just fine, make sure you pick a controller map that best fits your controller.

It reads the controller, but it doesn't allow me to to use the x, square, triangle or circle buttons. I've been using the two analog sticks as replacements since i a using a ps2 dualshock controller. i've tried everything , ut it just won't let me se those buttons to be used. whenever i clear the current key being used and press the corresponding button on my controller, it instantly sets it as "LSHIFT" for those four button. i can't use the select button either because it acts as my keyboard's "enter" button, but i dont reallly need that button. i'm not sure what's causing this. but thanks anyhow for the quick reply!

Nevermind. I fixed this problem by getting a new copy of epsxe. there seemed to be something wrong with the copy i had. thanks again for your help!

On the map menu there should be a drop down box, select dual analog.
