Vista tends to be a pain sometimes, but for the most part it's flaws are vastly overstated, i've only had 2 programs not work on vista.

Avg anti-rootkit and i believe mupen 64, though personally that was when i was fairly new to computers and didn't know that neither of them is best at what they do, the best are vista compatible.
