I'm having trouble running this game on my no$gba emulator. I've been playing the first Golden Sun without any problems, and I don't know why the second one won't work. I've downloaded it from about 7 different sites, so I know it's not the ROMs. Every time I try to run Golden Sun 2 in the no$gba, it says ROM Image has crashed, and automatically closes out of the emulator. I don't think my settings are set correctly for it.

Here are my current settings that work fine on the first Golden Sun.

Emulation Speed, LCD Refresh: Realtime, Auto
Reset/Startup Entrypoint: Start Cartridge directly
Video Output: 24bit True Color
GBA Mode: VGA (poppy bright)
GBA Cartridge Backup Media: Auto
NDS Cartridge Backup Media: FLASH 256KBytes
Solar Sensor Level: Darkness
Sound Output Mode: Digital Mono (fast)
Sound Desired Sample Rate: High (44kHz) (best)
Multiboot Port: None/Disabled
Multiboot Normal/BurstDelays: Medium/Medium (stable)
Number of Emulated Gameboys: 1
Link Gamepaks: Gamepaks in all GBAs
Link Cable Type: Automatic

Does anybody know why these settings aren't working for Golden Sun 2? If anyone can tell me why, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

What actually happens when you run the game?

Anyway, I recommend you play it in VBA http://www.vbalink.info/download-gba-emulator.htm

As soon as I run the game nothing happens except for the error: ROM Image has crashed pops-up and closes out of the emulator immediately. Thanks for the download link, I'll try that and tell you if it works.

I know I have tried it before and worked fine in VBA.

Hey, I have a fully beaten first game with on no$. I'm onto the second game, and fine with playing it on the VBA, but I want the code from my first save file. For some reason, it's not letting me get it (maybe I'm doing it wrong), but every time I try inputting the short code to get the envelope icon, it doesn't bring it up. If I were to send somebody the the snapshot file of my game, would they be able to send me the code?
