help with iDeas please

i have a problem with the audio on iDeas emulator everything else works perfectly but there is no sound and my mic doesn't respond either. I am still fairly new to emulation so do i have to download any plugins for this emulator or is it just something i missed? Any info would be helpful thank you.

try No$gba from here in the forums. better working than ideas and more compatibility.
