When im playing pokemon ruby on visualboyadvance, it sais at the beggining before new game, that the battery has run dry and timed events wont occur. what's this mean?

it means that time events wont work like day and night,sales and pokemon that only come out at night

This Game works fine for me on VBA1.7.2. It should also work for U, go to emulator, turn on Ur Realtime Clock and set Ur Save Type to Automatic and Flash 128K, this should work :)...

Ya i got the same problem which there is no Market Sales and timed fossils!!! :shocked:

Errrrr...... I tried there but the same problem.
Kameo said that u need to set that.

IDK what the problem is. I'm downloading Emerald Version right now to see it for myself.

I just tried it and I see what's wrong. IDK how to turn the Realtime thing on, but I do know how to change the save file. What's the Realtime Clock anyway?

I think its clock for events. For example at 15 game playing minute will something happen.

IDK. It might be the clock that's buildt into your computer. The one at the bottom-right hand corner of the screen.

I've got the clock working and all but a "timed event" or so i think it is still ain't happening. I've just beaten Mt Pyre on emerald. And now i have to go to slateport city where there are supposed to be people standing around the shipyard trying to steal the sub. Because those ppl rnt there i can't get into the aqua lair which i obviously need to.

Maybe U need to do something first, like a scripted event, not a timed event. Maybe there's something about it on GameFAQs....

Nah i've tried like walkthroughs to see if i've missed something and i haven't. I've finished the game up to that point.

Yes it could but i have no idea like i just watched him revive groudon and now im like wandering around i checked lilycove city..
