Any suggestions? I'd prefer turn based and it has to be around 2002 or so due to my video card. I can go as high as 2005 or so as long as the graphics don't require a better video card. I'm using an Nvidia 4800 card. So any games that can run using that.
I'm looking for something like that too. It doesn't necessarily have to be for PC.
I don't want to manage a lot of characters though, 4 at max.

You know, tatsuya would probaly give a list but he wont be around for a while. :p
Also, I'd like to add no games like Final Fantasy Tactics. While I enjoyed the game I don't generaly like that combat system.

I was pondering something similar the other day.
PC games that no R need DosBOX make me happie! I wanted to play Daggerfal but OI, forget it now.. I'll stick to never knowing what I missed.
I've been looking for "clones" of Morrowind for YEARS as well.

For a morrowind clone there's Two Worlds but the monsters don't respawn in that game. Though it does have multiplayer.

OH yeah! I remember that... and it reminds me of "The Witcher" as well.

I don't care for guns in games so the Fallout series never interested me. I ended up going with my favorite game, FFVII, and I'm currently looking through a few hard mods. I'd do the PS one but the only hard mod I know for it is by a guy who never plans to release it.

ff7 is a good one, even after you beat it, theres alot you can go back an do, a lil known fact on it, is that in the very orignal version they were going to make a way to bring back arith in game, thats why in bone village you can find the sector 7 gate key, but in the long run it was taken out, and the gate key left as a memento

Actualy, that key lets you back into midgar which is also where you get Tiffa's ultimate weapon. And trust me I know. Go to youtube and look for GarlandtheGreat. He's done some pretty amazing stuff with the game.

yea you can also get into the games debug system, which idk why was never removed an put her back into the party that way if you want i have a some 20 page guide that tells preaty much everything u can do to the game, i was reading in another post where they were going to try to run the game soly with cloud which would be pretty easy with the master materia and a couple alls one of the funnest things i think, is to run the game with cloud an seph ^.^

You mean a single char challenge. That's pretty easy, go to the guy I mentionend and you'll see alot harder stuff being done.

If you ask me, what that guy did is just as stupid as it is admirable.

i dont get what the big deal is, he just used GS to hack the game....

Look through all his videos. Check out the challenges specificaly. Those hacked bosses where just for fun. This (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=BF40C7E14FAA8B76), play list is one of the things I'm pointing out. Also, I just died at the start of the game with the hard mod. Could take a while to beat the game this time around.
@Ryu: Yeah, there's little he hasn't done.

yea i saw his LLNMIENAs still not very impressive to me... least not to me.... ive gone threw the whole game without upgrading anything, its not as hard as some ppl try to make it seam, unless you go in and force the change, the bosses are still at the same dif. see the thing about ff7 is that everything is on a curve, the stonger you get the stronger the next boss will be, same can be said if u keep your char weak, this is why when ppl first started hacking ff7 with GS alot of ppl found/clamied that the final fight was "impossible" or took a couple hours to go threw

Well considering the max level is 28, you're all but naked and can't use magic and can barely afforde items and have to flee all random battles, yeah it's hard. Oh, and only one person can survive a boss battle. It's not wether if the parts are easy seperated (most of them are) it's when they're put together that it's difficult.

Here (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=6818.0), and Ryu, you'd have to look. There may since FFIX is also on the PC.

Yahoo or google, that's what I always do. I don't really have any sources for that.

the mods not that tough, the random battles are a lil harder..but the set battles, not so much, would probably be better if i had never played ff7 be4

Like I said, caught me by surprise. I'm fine otherwise. I made it to the save point and quite for the night since it's getting late for me. I'll still be on for another hour or so but not aware enough to play a game.

These games might be too new for your computer to run but if you dont mind looking into them my favorite turn based mmorpg is Atlantica Online. Other RPGs you could try is Runes of Magic and Xiah.
Worst case scenario, you always got RuneScape which runs on almost anything

I don't know if anyone has suggested it, but Myst. That was the game to play on your PC when I was growing up. It's surprisingly fun.
