I am new to the ROM world but I am finding my way around pretty quick. It all started with my co-worker talking about playing old nes games on his computer. I knew this was possible but I wasn't about to start searching until he rattled off a few games that I loved as a kid. Now I'm in. I've gotten a few games for my nes rom and snes rom systems. I'm visiting my childhood all over again and I'm loving it. So I drive to the nearest Fry's and pick me up a controller I thought woud be versatile enough for nes to playstation. I got me the SAITEK p2600 controller for starters since I needed my fix. It turns out that I can't use this thing now! Not for any game. I'm stuck man. I've searched on the net and tweeked my settings but nothings working. I need some advice. I feel as though I've rushed into things and I don't know where I am going now. It's not easy playing Street Fighter with keystrokes I'll tell ya.

Just open Ur emulator and look around a little for something that refers to a thing like "controls", "set up controls", "input", "Game-pad", I'm sure U get the idea, once there, set up Ur controls and U should do fine ;)...

Thanks Kameo. Still though, it is not working. :mad2: The controller is working properly but my NES fce ultra 98.12 doesn't acknowledge it. Neither does my sNES9x v 1.39. It's either the keyboard or nothing else. sNES9x just shows "gamepad" configuration but nowhere does it have settings for the use of a usb controller. How do you guys do it? I await your response.

Hold everything! I think I'm getting it. You said to configure the buttons huh. Like, when it asks you where you "want" your buttons to be. AHA! I just tried it so I'll let you know if it works! BRB :D
