Hi all. As my first post on this site, I would like to post a list of the games I need for the Sega Saturn. I, like anyone else, have been collecting Saturn games for a long time, gave up on them, and then started downloading them to play on my newly modded Saturn. These are the only games I need to get a full set, which I plan on uploading sometime.
Here it is:
no more:)
I hope that my post will recieve lots of viewers and remember, I need the US versions of these games because I would like to complete the USA set, upload it, and move on to EUR and JAP. Oh, and if someone uploads a game and needs any other USA Saturn game, just ask me and I will get it up for u.
Thanks for Your time.;)

I will post here once a day if I don't get any responses, just to keep my thread near the top.:)

Hardly anyone uses the New Posts link anyway, so that won't do you much good. The number of posts an user has posted is a record, and you don't want your record to be full of trash, do you?

Dont have ANY of your games in US but some in UK. Check out the Saturn ROMs Request sticky thread at the top, and you'll see most of the games i have.
Another member, SKID posted "The Horde (US)" not long ago. Here are his links.

ahh saturn what a great system, im trying to get a complete collection too. Then i want to put it away for a while so on some rainy day i can pull out my huge folder of every game :D
Lots of these titles are in the saturn section of this site, or in the thread mentioned above, or in a few key websites also mentioned in that thread.

Please check the saturn rom request thread. Usually there are a lot of links in there that lead to roms not listed on coolrom.

check the rom request thread and look for a link to segasoluce.net or something heh :) - the site has added quite a few roms since it was first posted in that thread, so its a good one to keep an eye on ;) - it has a few of the ones on your list and some of them are (U).

ok, so i read the whole forum and checked every site that was mentioned and i am glad to say that i found about 5 or 6 games that i needed. sega soulce had 2 games i needed, 1 being theme park which i was about to buy.:D also, i found a guy on the epforums that has about 4 games that i need, so i will have to work out a trade with him and maybe post a link here if i get them.:)

ok, so i need some help. i have downloaded virtua racing from gametronics and it is in iso mp3 format. i converted the mp3's to .wav and created a new .cue, and tried the music tracks on my pc and they worked perfectly. i then burned the game using alchol 120% and tried it on my saturn. the games works, but the music is all distorted and just sounds like static, so i burned it again but got the same result. when i try to burn it in iso mp3 format with a good .cue, it wont let me. it usually says that there is a problem with line 4 or 1. i have read countless walkthroughs for burning it, but i still got the same result. i have also got this problem with other games, but some work perfectly. can someone please help.
ps: turns out theme park is the european version.;)

it comes with a .cue file that works fine (with nero).
you can either modify the existing cue, after decoding the mp3 -> wav and use notepad to search and replace
original: .MP3" MP3
replaced: .WAV" WAVE
i just used nero tho, left the tracks as mp3, and burned it at 16x and it works fine - and the music is also fine.

i have done that, but i still get the same result. it wont let me burn iso-mp3, and the iso-wave burns, but the music is still bad after track 2. i will try it on another burner today and see how it goes.:)

still couldnt get it to work.:mad2:
joedodgy, could you possibly rip the virtua racing that you got working into mds mdf format from alchol 120% and upload it to megaupload? if you do, i would be glad to upload rampage world tour(U) for the saturn which i own the original copy of.:)

umm.. as much as i would like you to upload that game, i think it would be a lot more 'sane' to suggest you just use nero.
i tried with alcohol 3 times today, and produced the same thing - all 3 copies had audio problems, so we're both doing the same thing (altho i tried different settings on the 3 attempts - one time, track 2 was ok and the rest were static).
anyway, is there a reason you can't use nero?

i have tried burning it with nero a countless number of times, but i STILL get problems. when i try to load the .cue it says:
"An error occured while loading the cue sheet file
'C:\Virtua Racing (USA) 1995\Virtua Racing (US).cue'.
(Line 1)
when i burn the iso, it does not burn with the music. the .cue files are good because they match the names of the files correctly. i guess the last thing it could be is the version of Nero i am using. i have Nero Express 6 which came with my pc. i read somewhere that you need Nero Burning Rom, but it didnt come with this version. one more question: which version of nero are you using?
joedodgy

nero express != nero
below is the version i'm using .. its not the latest, but works fine. since ahead arent hosting it anymore, i found a mirror here:
nero 7.0.1.2
http://downloads.megagames.com/cdr/Nero-7.0.1.2_eng.exe
then this goes with it -
http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=0f496d1de8edb4f4f574b4f1e5deaa3b
nero express is like nero without any balls, its missing a lot features and functionality. if it spits an error on line1, you can be sure that either it can't find the file mentioned on the first line of the cue, or that it just can't handle the cue. the cue files are just text and human readable, so it should be a no brainer to work out the problem if its in the cue file (which i doubt it is).
as for no music if u burn just the iso - well of course, the cue file describes the layout of the tracks on the cd - if you look at it, track 1 is the iso (data track), and track 2 -> track 41 are audio.. burning just the iso (data track) is going to ignore all the audio tracks... so yeah again, there shouldnt be any confusion as to why that happens :)

I have some great news! I was finally able to join underground-gamer.com and there are a lot of people there that HAVE been working on finding all the USA saturn games like me! They have already uploaded about 30-40 of the games i was missing and they are working from a list like mine, so they are missing the exact ones that i am!:D I will still come by here, but it looks like i dont need to request anything. oh, and i will request Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Sega Saturn), which was one of the past requests here, and if i get it i will upload it here!;) So, now i just have to download the torrents, buy an external hd, and i will be set with the Sega Saturn!:D

I must take my leave from this site. I send my thanks again to JoeDodgy for helping me with burning iso-mp3's. Well, it was nice being here, but now I must move on.
Good-Bye! I will go play some saturn now.:)
