How do you turn on the controller in the n64 emulator 1964?

I don't know what input plugin you have, but I assume you'll have the default. Let me know if there is a problem with these instructions.

Open 1964.
Choose the "Input Settings..." command from the Plug-ins menu or use the Ctrl+I shortcut.
On the Controller 1 tab, make sure that the "Plugged" option is selected.
Click the Save button at the bottom to save your settings.Does it work now?

By the way, 1964 is the second best emulator. I believe you'll like Project64 better. But 1964 is adequate, so you can choose 1964 if you want.

Go to emulator-zone.com. Use the left sidebar to navigate for the different console emulators.

Or just click here (http://www.emulator-zone.com/download.php/emulators/n64/project64/project64_1.6.exe). It may be a bit easier.

It could be your plugin. I don't even like 1964 that much. Just download Project 64 here (http://www.pj64.net/main/download/func,download/id,34/chk,c4a98e693b67052f6b919bf2d52c2f2f/).

By the way, thanks for posting in a previous thread, as opposed to making a new one.
