So scientists at mit have found a way to make batteries with viruses. They use very basic ones to change into diodes or whatever then attach to other viruses to create lithium ion batteries that are way cheaper.

Aye, they have been working on the project for years. Viral and Bacterial recombination to manufacture components is a key step in nanotechnology research. Otherwise it will take decades of normal manufacture to create enough nano material to be able to do anything.

The viral diode construction is also a big step towards organic computers and circuit construction.
