Hi, I'm new to emulating, so can someone help me to figure out how to get coolrom.com/roms/n64/1128/Pokemon_Stadium_2.php that to run on any of the nintendo 64 emulators?
It would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Should be fairly simple. (I'm assuming here you are running Windows)

1. Go here (http://www.pj64-emu.com/downloads/func-startdown/34/) for the latest public release of Project64. There are other emus available, but this is my preference.

2. Install it.

3. When Installed, run the program. Click file -> choose ROM directory. Now select the folder that you saved the Poké Stadium rom in. (The downloaded file will need to be unzipped. Use 7zip for this. The result will be a .z64 file) You should save all your N64 ROMs in this directory.

4. Double clikc Poké Stadium in the ROM selector window, and voila! Should run smoothly. Now you may need to customize your controls through Options -> Configure controller plugin. If you own a wired Xbox 360 joypad, I thoroughly recommend it.

If these instructions are unsuccessful, come back and tell us your woes. If i can't help you, someone else can!

Happy emulating ;)

PS. Codeman, please be reasonable with your signature images. Some people aren't operating on fast broadband y'know!

Yes, a keyboard should be fine, especially for a turn based game like Pokémon. Just don't try and play Goldeneye on keyboard! :D

Same with any FPS, unless there's some way of incorporating the mouse...?

it wouldn't work even with emulators that have mouse support, because console games are made to be played with a single controller, not a combination of mouse+keyboard. Your best bet is to get a usb gamepad (I recommend the logitech at 20$ without vibration or 35$ with it), or get the PC version of the game if it exists.
