There's an American FF6 on the website, which I think is similar to the english one. It's called FF3 in America but nevertheless it's still the same game with the same sprites.

you know theres no need for FF6 as FF3 USA is the same version just in english....no translation needed. Ive never played FF5 because it had no USA release....but I am convinced its a buffed sequal to FF2 and that doest sark a fancy as that game had to much diplomacy to make it fun until someone died and cid became the man...bla blah, th story had to many problems and was draging down my hero!

I have been seeking desperately for a FFV rom, unfortunetly, as many of you have noticed, they are pretty much all in japanese, so yeah, if you could send me a translated FFV if you have one, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I know of other ways to attain a translated copy, but all involve the use of patches, a process I am not well versed in :(

Dude, you're on the internet. So speak like a moron. Anywayz sorry for getting off topic a bit, but I've also searched for an FFV rom for a long time, cuz' I've heard so much about the magnificent job system. I think I may like it, or at least I hope so. I like BoF and Chrono Trigger, but FF6 was a bit of a dissapointment, because of all those 'boring' places which were NOT optional to go through, like the opera house, the island in the clouds, the city with all those clock morons, and a lot of other places, and FF4... I just didn't like having 5 characters.

I really enjoyed chrono trigger, I still play that frequently, but can someone explain to me how to use a patch? I have read you require a patching program, if so where can I download one?
