need help with FF7 setup for ePSXe

It works fine up until battles, than the bottom half where the battle bar is goes black and you cant choose your actions..how should it be setup to work properly? :mad2::mad2::confused:

What video plugin do you use? Click on the "Nice" button in video config and see if that works.

because ff7 doesnt have any sort of graphics worth caring about,id just use PSX ,you dont need to worry about plugins, just setup the controller,erm, controls, and the sound/video will be perfect on any computer and theres no delay

the problem with psx is graphics, which, as i said,i isnt a problem in ff7 (its not much of a problem in most ps games in fact)
