[the pictures wont work sorry]

OK, this guide will walk you though every step to making the perfect Sega CD rips. But what makes this guide better then others is the fact that it mainly uses Freeware

Heres what you'll need.

Alcohol 120% - It's not free, if you don't want to pay it's easily available through warez sites
CDmage - Freeware
RightClick-MP3 - Freeware (You can use any software capable of turning WAV's into MP3's)

Now you will also need about 1 Gig of free hard drive space, for part of the process you will basically have two CD's worth of Data. So if your hard pressed for space you might want to clean your hard drive before you continue.

Now start Alcohol 120% and select "Image Making Wizard"

The following screen will appear, use the settings shown in the screen shot. Then click next.

Now use the settings from this screen, be sure it's set to CUE.

Now go ahead and click start, when it's done you will have a nice BIN and CUE set. You could just use your emulator and play right now. But if your wanting to share this the File size is most likely to large to download. So the answer is ISO and MP3, the next section will tell you how to do that.

----------------------------------- Turn it to an ISO and MP3's -----------------------------------

OK, let's get to the fun part!
So far it's been pretty basic, but this is what separates the Noobies from the pros.
Now let's get to work, find where you put the BIN and CUE files, now open Notepad and simply drop the CUE file into it. It will look some thing like the picture, we must edit it because of some compatibility issues.

Simply highlight the weird square shapes and hit enter, basically this will replace it with a new line. Do this for all of them. It should look like this picture. Save the CUE file and close notepad.

Now open CDmage and open the CUE file, there may be a short pause while it loads the file.
You should see all the different tracks. Select the first track and right click it, from the menu pick "extract tracks"

You will then see this screen, make sure the options are like shown
pay attention to where your extracting it, here I forgot to change folders from last time
Track naming Scheme should be ?I ?n.?e
Once your done select extract.

Now you have an ISO, Next select all the other tracks 2 through what ever.
Right click and pick "extract tracks"

This time use the following options
track naming Scheme should be ?I ?n.?e
and Audio should be WAVE

Now when that's done you should have and ISO and some WAV's
From here you could use any program to turn the WAV's into MP3s but we'll us RightClick-MP3

Simply right click the folder that has all the WAV's and select this option.

Now just one last step, remove the "1" from the ISO's file name and YOU'R ALL DONE.
Once you get used to this you will be able to do this really quickly, and now what do you do with these files? Share them on P2P programs or donate them to RomNation

Well I hope you found this Guide helpful!
