Long Lost NES Games

Sup Everyone? I have been looking for these games for a loooooong time, unfortunately, I cannor remember the titles:mad2: . I can still give descriptions of each. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Game 1. This is a game about a really really high jumping "ninja" guy. I believe he dresses in brown. He has a sword that with each passing stage, it grows. Also, at the end of each stage, after defeating the boss, he finds something but an eagle or some other bird takes it, and we see a picture of the bird flying away. Also, Medusa makes an appereance on some cave.

Game 2. This game is about two war tanks. The game is seen from a sky view. There are many stages and bosses await at the end. One of the bosses, if I remember correctly, is made up of various statue heads that shoot out bullets from their mouths.

Game 2 might be called Battletanks.

I think I played the first one on the 31 in 1 game but cannot remember it's name.

The second one sounds familiar. It isn't battle tanks. I think it is something strike...maybe....

Yeah, its deffinetly not Battletanks. i checked it out a little while ago. Thanks though. I'll check out games with "stryke" on the title.

I think I had the name wrong for the second one, it may be Battle City. I think thats it, if it isn't than I have no idea what it could be.

I tell you, the first game has strong reminitions for me, maybe it will come to me soon ;)

I hope so too. I've been wanting to play that game since like back in 92. That one ninja dude could jump really high and the boss monsters at the end of each level were awesome. his sword grew with every passing stage, and he would have throwing stars. And that damn bird would always steal what he was trying to get.

Try Karateka it was the one I was looking for and it sounds very similar to the one you are looking for.

Thanx, but its not Karateka. This ninja dude is mostly in the woods. The first boss is some big animal dude and they fight on a really really tall tree, I think. I think the second boss is fought on a tall mountain.

You wanna know how I found this game? I was bored, so I thought I'd download some random NES rom from coolrom... It turned out to be Demon Sword :P

I think that Game#2 is Jackal.

Its not Jackal. It plays almost exactly like Jackal. Its the same style and everything. The main difference is that its tanks instead of jeeps.

Can't help you on this one. I play almost only RPG's and I had hoped Demon Sword would be one.
