well, i'm new to the site(though i believe i've used it before), and sortof new to emulators, only because i can never figure out how edit the joystick config to include the mouse buttons. so i guess theres my question, is there a way i can edit the joystick config to include buttons on the mouse?(for both the project64 and espsxe emulators) anyone wanna help? :D

do you mean by moving the mouse around( i doubt it but its the only way i see it being useful, and even then id still prefer a keyboard) if not then im pretty sure you just select the button you want to config with and hit a mouse button

but seriously, wouldnt that just make controls harder?

On Project 64, the controller mapping with a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad is pretty easy. I map the C buttons to 1 2 3 4 and then the A and B buttons to 5 6 with L R mapping to 7 8. The Z button I dont worry too much about mapping to unless theres a potential issue with a certain game , I can map Z to button 12 which is the right analog stick button when you press it down.
