Admin! Reguarding "All times are GMT -4."

It says "All times are GMT -4." at the bottom of the screen. Then it says the time is now [insert time here]. But then it says teh same time that I have here. I am eastern time which is GMT -5. GMT -4 is for like parts of Canada like Newfoundland and such. I don't think there is any part of the United States that is in GMT -4. I may be wrong about that. Correct me if I am. Either way, I know that the time it has at the bottom is GMT -5. I am positive about that. Just thought you might want to know.

Yes, I frequently misspell regard when I am typing. I break things into syllables so I can type them fast, and guard is spelled "G-U-A-R-D" so, I type "re" and then guard" It happens when I am not thinking to clearly or if I am semi-distracted.

Anyhow, the actual name of our time zone is Eastern US & Canada (GMT -5). I understand that there is daylight savings, but how could they change the GMT part? That should be the same, always. While daylight savings may make it GMT -4 if we are on it, meaning that the U.K. doesn't have Daylight savings I guess, but regardless, our title is GMT -5. They shouldn't change it just because we are in it. If they do, then admin should disregard my request, but I think that is silly.

Yeah, I just looked it up. It says:

Standard Time Zone: GMT-5

Current Time Zone: GMT-4

You would think that since it says zone, that would mean it is an area, not a time of the year and an area, but whatever. Either way, disregard this whole topic. Close it, delete it, whatever. I just think it is stupid for them to consider the time zone as different. Whoever "them" is. Those sneaky them. Taking away timezones from hard-working people.

Oh okay. What does it really matter though? I mean the only useful thing you can do about the time is see when people posted certian posts. That is pretty much all.

Yeah, it can be confusing at times. The current time zone is calculated after daylight savings time is taken into account.

Yeah, it says admin posted at 8:58 PM. Over here, it's 9:08 PM, and I don't mean 9:58!
