emulation help

im new at this and i just downloaded banjo tooie. i want to be able to play it on my computer but i dont know how to set it up. can someone help?

download the emulator project 64(theres other emulators but this one is the easiest one to use,if your run into problems in the game that make the game unplayable( such as the game freezing, or lag by the second ) then you should try looking at compat for that game or known issues and try other emulators, such as mupen 64 or 1965. This is a rule of thumb for most emulation)

make sure the rom is in a folder you can get to easily( i believe project 64 has a folder in the project 64 folder you can put marked roms,which its preset spot) now go to options, control plugin, configure your controls(rather hard to play some certain joystick games with a keyboard, by the way) then when your done with that go to file, open and find the rom

this has probably been said a million times and im sure theres a guide for this, try searching next time
