My friend used to play a gmae on the snes but cant remember the title. he said that you start in a town where there is this gang called the sharks (they are also the first boss) and something goes wrong at a chem. lad and you must leave town only to later come back in order to find some one but thats all he remembers plz help by telling me the name if you know ti if not thanks anyway

the sharks part sounds like earthbound

Yeah, the sharks are a gang in Earthbound in the beginning and you have to fight Franky (the boss of them) before you can get to Giant Step. Anyhow, there is no Chem lab, so probably not.
