How can I hook my new controller to my PJ64? When I go to Options->Configure conroller plugin->Devices, I hook up the controller and it won't work. The controller is called USB 4-axis 12-button Gamepad, or at least that is what it says it's called on PJ64. What do I do?
P.S. The controller looke like this;

I don't know, but I'll tell you one thing, that is NOT a Nintendo 64 controller. It has a Select button, which is not a Nintendo 64 button. I would suggest getting a controller that looks a little more like this:

Make sure your hardware is installed to the machine properly. It should register as a USB pad in the emulator. You'll have to configure your buttons... at least, that's how it went down for me. I use one controller for six emulators.... kind of cool, actually.

Iconoclast, I know how a N64 controller looks like. This isn't a N64 controller, it's a controller for PC games. I wanted to see if it would work for the emulator.

How do you do setup the buttons? I'll get beack to you if I figure it out by myself.

I don't think it'll work. I wouldn't count on it.

Aha! It did work. Works perfectlly actually. My cousin gave me this controller, but it costs $10-$20 at most stores just if you wanted to know.

Just a matter of mapping the buttons just like you would the keys on your keyboard...

Yeah that was it. I used N64 Virtual Pad and it was easy.
