First subject of hatred: The opening song. The music is good but the fact that all kinds of horrible things that make no sense are going on. Like that guy on the tower. Who would be laughing about a nuclear explosion? Nobody in there right mind that's who!

This show makes absolutely no sense. If you can create evil people beating demon kids from lying about your dog being run over then this world should be plauged with demon kids.

I would like to submit that Full Metal Whatever makes no sense. How can you raise people from the dead by drawing with chalk on the ground? Simple: You can't. That bieng said, this series makes no sense either.

Okay. That's why we call it a "Fictional anime." Okay? This show tries in the beginning to make it seam non fictional, as if it really can happen. But then it starts going off in all kinds of directions. Such as when they take that group of people trying to commit suicide. They have retarded people that meet up from a chat room go and try and kill themselves on with trains, trees, and poisen. That's just stupid. They act like they're having a good time trying to do it! Then they get back on and start chatting on new ways to kill themselves. Or when that group of ladies start talking about how Li'l Slugger whent and beat up a kid who was stressed over his entrance exams. Then they talk about how a guy who likes to wake up early and beat the hell out of food. Or when they had the kid that they thought was li'l slugger, he went out into places that didn't exsist and beat the hell out of video game monsters. But not FMA Okay? They have next to no plot holes, don't wander from the story, and don't make demon kids that go around and beat the hell out of people so they don't get all stressed out and stuff. And we all know that FMA doesn't get all hippity hopiddy happy about an old guy a tough guy and a little girl trying to commit suicide, because that's just weird. P.S. Paranoia agent isn't entertaining. FMA is.:D

You spelled "Being." wrong. That's a fairly annoying thing to say, because I could point out your every single little mistake, and I don't. You're being rude, dammit! :rolleyes:

So what you're saying is that there are two types of anime. "Fictional Anime", and "Anime That Is Also Fictional But You Don't Like". This makes absolutely no sense in any shape or form, unless either

A. You only saw a few episodes of aforementioned show
B. You really don't like this show because it really DOES have bad writing and plot holes.

B is entirely possible, especially since you have obviously watched a lot more anime than someone like, say, me. I'm not going to discredit your tastes because you're probably right, but I just want to point out that (stereotype alert!) almost ALL anime is fictional, whether it pretends to be or not. If you're talking about fantasy/science fiction (Note: I have never seen a so-called science-fiction anime that made any scientific sense) anime series, then most anime is also that too. Most of it is entirely implausable, which I don't mind if the series is obviously fantasy-oriented. But when it's trying to be scientifically plausible and failing, that's when I start to laugh.

Okay okay. Black Wizard is being close minded. But I still like full metal alchemist. By the way, Alchemy is possible. Look it up. I don't feel like explaining it. Alchemy won't raise you from the dead though. That is black magic. You lose your soul though, or part of it if you try that.

Anyhow, Full Metal Alchemist is very well written, almost no plot holes, and is suspenseful. The ending is like watching part of a movie an djust getting up and walking away though. Not much of a resolution.

<.< I realize this is an old thread and all but I since this is my favorite show I must say something since it caught my eye. This show does make sense its just really hard to follow. It never goes away from the plot either. When the girls where standing around telling rumors if you listened in the later episodes you found out that the more rumors that circulated about lil slugger the stronger he gets. The people who supposedly are having a good time trying to kill themself are fed up with life however when they find out that the lil girl wants to die they end up not killing themself because they wont allow themself to let her die at such a younge age. Then they end up meeting little slugger also so their tied into the story line. The kid that was trapped in the videogame world is actually part of the key on how to beat lil slugger. As you notice in that episode the one detective actually goes along with the story. Later on he becomes a character in the story and is himself shifting between the world where he can battle little slugger and the real world. Anything else that didn't make sense?

BTW you want a show that dosn't make sense watch Dead Leaves or bobobo bobo-bobo

Yeah, I guess this is old but I love the show so eh, gotta support it. If you watch it all the way through it makes perfect sense. Not to mention it is set up as kind of a suspense-mystery drama, so at some points it's supposed to keep you guessing. I managed to find a fan-sub version of the entire season and that explained things in even greater detail.

It is a little more then just a chalk drawing. It is a leap from actual alchemy which is the breaking down of an item to its elements and rearranging them to make something new. But the anime takes it to an extream making it seem almost like magic. the alchemic array is just to do what kind of alchemy they are going to use. If there is anymore questions youd like to ask about fullmetal alchemist ask me. Paranoia agent wasnt one of my favorites but it is pretty good I guess. An easy way to explain the little slugger thing it was like a freddy krueger situation more people believe in him the stronger he becomes.

Not completely like Freddy though, because they cant get rid of little slugger by just not believing in him. You actually had to go to the source to stop it.

it was some what like freddy and the way they got it to stop was by making the girl actually own up to responsiblity of the accident. To me the whole series was about facing your problems and not lying. The girl lyed about the death of her dog and little slugger was born.

Paranoia Agent (the anime, not me :p) is in my opinion, the best anime of all time, and my favourite. (Hence my screen name)

Now, Inuyasha... that's hard t follow (well for me it was, although I was just watching an episode casualy once)
