How do i add a downloaded mame rom in the mame emu?

you have to put the zip file you downloaded (the mame rom, dont unzip it,) and add it to th ROMS folder in your mame program directory, wherever you put that.

i did what u said but it still says that some files are missing.the game i tried to add is tecmo world cup (from coolrom).I may do something wrong but i don't think so.Try it and then tell me please

Well, You either need bios files(dont ask where to get them). Or the parent rom of that file.
