Lots of emulators have support for a client/server setup.

Lots of emulators have support for a client/server setup, Kaillera being the most notable among them.

But what else is there besides Kaillera? It's all I've ever used so I'm a bit biased in favor of it, if only because it seems to work flawlessly.

Nay, there is the dreaded desynch.

Desynch hardly ever occurs with most games, unless you have a faulty connection, a bad partner, the Kaillera server is acting up (it used to a lot, hardly ever now though) or your config settings are just generally retarded. That being said, can you find a better netplay service? I want some variety, anyway.

There doesn't seem to be any other form of NetPlay besides using Kaillera except for some of the internal NetPlay capabilities within some emulators such as ZSNES. ZSNES doesn't use Kaillera, just a standards internal NetPlay program.

Well there's Super Smash Bros. AKA SSB, that you could play. Just PM someone, or post it.

I say we just start a club and run like hundreds of thoudands of miles or wires to all of our houses, and see if it is any better than desync issues.

I hate it when me and my friends are playing and the sync screws up. the other day Iwas polaying my brother in alw on ZSNES netplay, and talking on the phone to each other.

I beat him and was at the character select on Street fighter 2 turbo, and he was still fighting me! now THAT is what I call sync that really need inprovement.

Ummm anyway....I actually made sections on my forum site for netplay, however I only have two members, CD and FD, because I'm to lasy to really advertise. If you want to check it out just go to my homepage/webpage I think I set it up on here. Also if you want a place where you can ask for netplay you can use my site! Thus getting anyone who wants to be able to ask for games online onto my site and get a big enough community I hope to one day be able to find an online game whenever I want or someone else wants. With that being said don't feel obligated to join if you don't want to. XD I realize theres a bunch of new forums out there all of a sudden, and all I have to say in my defense is I created mine because CD wouldnt incorporate my religion idea so meh. XD *walks away now*
