Had trouble with svcplus (bootleg) on neorage (stallin before fights), so i downloaded a few versions that work with neomo32, having trouble finding the emulator now :mad2:
Thanks for any replies + will help out if i can in return :)
P.S. - just wanna see violent ken in action really, sounds cool
SvC isn't that good anyway, but if you really want it, get the latest version of NeoRage and make sure you have the latest NeoGeo bios. Believe me, NeoRage is definitely the better emulator here, but older versions of it can't play SvC.
I used to have the exact same problem as you, so I know what I'm talking about.

NeoRage is an old, outdated piece of ****, there's no way it can be compared to the greatness of Kawaks. Name one advantage NeoRage has over Kawaks, otherwise, shut the **** up, retard...

Anyway, I used to use Kawaks for netplay with KOF 98, among other games. I use NeoRageX 5.3 for offline games because it is efficient with little problems and simply put, easier to use.
Just get them both, but if you're using the LATEST version of NeoRageX, you shouldn't have any problems. Get the latest Kawaks too, unless Kameo says "retard" again.

Here's NeoRage 4.3, which is the latest English version I could find. It requires a user name and password the first time you start it up (never again, though) which included in a Notepad file with the download.

^ That's NeoRage 5.3 (What I use). Unfortunately, it's in Spanish. I recommend taking a look at an English version to see where all the buttons are before using this.
Make sure you have the correct bios files, and be sure to extract them. Also, make sure you don't have a bad ROM dump. If everything else is working except one particular game, you know you have a bad dump. The thing to do then would be to get another version of the same ROM.

Kameo, you said NeoRageX sucks *** without giving a reason. You probably haven't even tried the latest versions. That, to me, is excessively stupid. You have no valid argument whatsoever exept that "I am a retard" and a "****ing moron". I realize you have a severe anger problem, but please refrain from doing things like this. Oh, and one last thing: I looked at a rating website for emulators. These guys have a good opinion, so trust them. NeoRage doesn't show up on this site, so I can't speak for it. But emulator-zone.com gives Kawaks a 4.5 star rating.
I thought it gave Kawaks an 8.9... ahem. Kawaks is a good emulator, it just occasionally acts up badly for me. It's sort of annoying if in the middle of a KOF '98 Kaillera match, Kawaks just crashes, know what I mean? Fortunately, it doesn't do that too much. Neorage 5.3, however, has never crashed on me. Come to think of it, the only issue I have with it is it has no netplay. Anyway, Evilash, if you have another problem or something, don't be afraid to PM me.
