Who here plays Sim games? I have been a fan of the franachise for quite a while. In this thread, you can discuss the Sim games. Which was your favorite? Which was your least favorite? Stuff like that.

One of the cool things about the earlier PC games was that they were sometimes connected. For example, you could build a city in Sim City 2000, then export it and play it on another game, such as Streets of Sim City or Sim Copter. That meant being able to create your own vast 3D worlds to fly or drive in.

I plyed all of those on the list above me. I like The Sims the best, but it gets a little boring after you're a millionaire. :(

I love the Sim series, even when the very first Sim City game came out =]
And then there was Sim City 2000, cheesy music, grainy graphics, an old school paradise of fun! I remember nobody believed me when i said i had Sim City 3000 back in the day, everyone would tell me YOU'D HAVE TO BE 1000 YEARS OLD TO PLAY THAT GAME! Haha, good times. Sim Ant i remember being an awesome addicting game too. Then there was the Sims. That game kicked major booty. But now that i look at it, it kind of sucks, the AIs were horrible, thats why i quickly picked up my own copy of Sims 2. It can't get any better than now =]
I love Will Wright!
=D

I beat the game.

(spoilers) You get a special cinema with aliens from the UFO that floats around the cities commenting on how amazing your copter skillz are, then you play the last city indefinitely, I think.(end spoilers)

You have to buy new copters after a few cities to be fast enough to get the jobs done. It really stinks when a job glitches, like a burglar wandered behind a house or something and then the cops can't get to him. Then it continually saps points from you until you fix it. It is great fun to toss people in midflight into the streets. Also, Sim Copter and Streets of Sim City actually had radio stations that played music and commercials, quite similar to GTA, while you played. I still have the disc, but I think I broke it, because the game often crashes.
