Does anyone go to an event/party/hullabaloo/place in summer and see that everyone is wearing sandals? I despise sandals, but mostly when people wear them in places with no sand. I mean, now I have to look at your cruddy feet! It's terrible. And if you wear the sandals, pretty much everything (including sand) gets on or under your feet, making them pretty useless. My little sister wears sandals, and for some odd reason, likes them. They are little more than a slab of colorful rubber with a strap on them. Plus, she frequnetly ditches them and runs around barefoot, which always ends in her feet being as black as sin from the dirt and stuff. I prefer sneakers because they get the job done right. No crud gets in them (usually), you can run in them much better, and they don't make that obnoxious noise when you walk in them.

Am I somewhat right, or am I completely retarded?

I don't like sandles or flipflops. They're annoying. Plus when a guy wears flipflops, he looks like he's gay. I'm serious about this too. Look at a guy wearing flipflops, 80% of them will not look straight.

I hope that wasn't sarcasm, because I'm serious. I notice the funniest things, but it's true. Maybe not for you, because you're used to it. I mean, since you live near the beach.
