Yes MAME mean Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator
Then if I saw an arcade machine, could I possible get that game? I mean are all acrade games made/dumped to make MAME ROMs/ISOs?
I don't know exactally how( Meaning if they dumped it or burned it. ) they get a MAME game, or if it's an ISO or a ROM.

No not all arcade games can be emulated, like Street Fighter Third Strike, as far as i know there is no working rom of that game.

There is a Soul Calibur rom for MAME but its doesn't run correctly, the video emulation is not 100% so the characters jump in and out of frame and is basically unplayable.

I don't to many, I've got Samurai Showdown V, Last Blade 2, Garou Mark of the wolf, SVC Chaos, a few more console games, but again I don't know to many console games that are on MAME.

Kurt now that you're on, could you answer my first question? And do you know if Sould Caliber is playable with anything? Is MAME the only arcade emulator?
Kurt now that you're on, could you answer my first question? And do you know if Sould Caliber is playable with anything? Is MAME the only arcade emulator?MAME isn't the only, but it is by far the best, except for Kawaks and NeoRageX 5.3 which only play NeoGeo games. And Soul Calibur is available for MAME, but I have not gotten it to work and neither has anyone else that I know of. I don't think it works. Just grab it for Dreamcast. Same with Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 3: IIIrd strike (two of my favorite games ever, BTW). They aren't MAMEable, but they are emulated well on the Dreamcast.
Someday, all these games will be playable on MAME, though.
Also, the only ESA protected games for MAME are the ones with ESA protected franchises or characters, like Donkey Kong, or Soul Calibur. As far as I know.

I hate arcades. They CHARGE MONEY!
Anyways, I got this CD with over 1000 arcade games. Pretty cool, and it's only 700 MB.

Also, I only play fighting games against other players and I'm pretty good at most of them, so I hardly ever lose quarters, especially if there's a long line of people waiting to play me. Ah, the good old days.

What's up with all the MAME sets? IDK what they are, but there's a lot of them What's the difference?
P.S. I get hooked on it, which might be a reason why I lose a lot of money....
Well, if you're talking about Fullsets, there's quite a few of them because most are incomplete in some way or another.
I was quite addicted to MvsC2 when the arcade was still open, and could beat nearly everyone with certain teams. Sometimes, I could even get the owner to sort of "sponser" me, because I drew so much revenue to that machine. Also, he knew I was broke as ****.

What types of fullsets are there? I mean I've seen ones from 30 GB to 15 GB and even lower.
What types of fullsets are there? I mean I've seen ones from 30 GB to 15 GB and even lower.Well, there are pretty much two kinds of fullsets, the kind with EVERY SINGLE MAME ROM EVER RELEASED, and the kind that seems to be missing a few, or maybe a lot. Some are totally huge because they include like 100 thousand versions of Galaga and 30+ Street Fighter hacks or clones along with every other MAME .106 game that actually works, and possibly some games that don't work.
