Maybe something we could do is add an arcade to the forums. I've seen arcades on other forums. We could have it as something extra to do and we could compete for high scores.

Good idea. Just take some decent games from Miniclips or something as you will get top scores there or make it similar to a web-site profileheaven.com as when you are the best at the game, it gives you an award to advertise (or pretty much rub it in) to people who are looking at your page. What you could do is, if you are the best at one of the games, you could have a trophie with the name of the game next to your name on the forum or something. If this arcade thing goes ahead, I mean

Actually, i think there is an expansion pack of sorts that adds an arcade to the forums. I think this because I keep seeing the same games:

Asteroids
Pac-Man
Donkey Kong
and others

Mind you that these games are flash remakes, and I think they are okay to have.

Even if they are remakes, I don't think that it'll be okay with the guys who made them. If they are old type games though, I don't think they'll be ESA protected.

Yes, an arcade here will consume quite a bit of bandwidth, but I will see if I can bring in this option to the forums, nonetheless :).

But, I just thought you guys should know, that was not a Flash game. Or at least that Pac-Man link crazed dragon posted. Flash isn't the only thing to make games on websites, you know. It was probably java for all I know.

why don't you set up a forum where people who are serious can set a time to duke it out in a mame/nes/snes/sega/64 game via kaillera?? I have all working flawlessly mame32k, nestopia, snes9k, gens+, and project 64k. have a certain game each week/month, and host the game on the post (so everyone will have the same version for online compatability reasons), and just list the emulator version it will be played with (also coinciding with netplay compatability). i think holding the high score in samurai showdown for example, is far more dignifying than if it were pac-man. If you don't do it, let me know an i'll make a forum for it.
