Barathum definitly not, have you ever explored the genre completely i think not, the best black metal bands are usually true black metal, or you could call it the pioneers of black metal, and bands like dark throne, and mayhem who have pretty much carried the torch of 1st generation black metal from bands like bathory, mercyful fate, celtic frost, and venom, mayhem have took 1st generation black metal and evolved it into its extremist form which is just called 2nd generation black metal, to tell you the truth i really couldnt tell you what the best bm band is because theyres too many and it also depends on the sub-genre of black metal, is it true, national socialist, melodic, symphonic etc.
