hey i just bought/installed PNY's g-force fx 5500. it says right on the box it's tv out compatible, so i bout a s-video to rca chord, plugged the s-video into my cpu, and then plugged the rca's into my video 2 slot on my television, and nothing is happening, do I have to do something inparticular?? I definitely need this to complete my home-made mame machine... PLEASE HELP!

i think you have to go to nvidia's control console, then do something there. reading the manual always helps too. :-P

Are you trying to use Single or Dual Monitor Support? Meaning, are you going to have your TV and Your Monitor connected to the PC athe the same time, or just the TV?

First, Make sure You Shut your PC Down. Then after its Off, connect the Appropriate cable. Then Boot up your PC. Once Booted, go to your display options, and make sure the single/dual monitor settings are set to the way you want. Thats pretty much it, without all the detail.

I think I got it. Is a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Turbocache good? Or is that not the video/graphics card?

well 6200 tc? then I am you man:

read: how much ram do you have? well maybe you are losin 198 megs?
why? does the name turbo cache mean something to you? this meas that the card on has 64 meg of ram and to reach 256 it needs 192 megs of the main ram.....and the worse: they are the weakest cards!!!!! I have one and I am selling it for pennies!!!

well thats another plainly unresearched, and ignorant comment.
the 6200 card the listed comes in different ram sizes. 64MB,128MB,256MB. Also, its a PCI-Expressx16 card, with a GPU superior to the card listed in the first post in the thread anyway! so WTF?

Who are you to rip on someone and make them feel lesser because you think their card isnt as good as yours. Shame on you. At least he has a card period. I can think of a lot of cards "weaker" - as you put it if I wanted to but whats the point? Whats really the weakest, and worst, is you attitude and knowlegde toward gaming.

I am not ripping no one ...I have the same card. I am just giving a testimonial about the crap card itself. the 6200 tc is crap, is weak and a waste of money.
I have the card and When first time I used it it, I toughjt it was a complete waste of cash. it is weaker than a geforce 5 series!!!!!
