This happens to me all the time, but not just on IE, also on FireFox, and sometimes on both! Help would really be appriciated.

Not now, now everything seems to be fine, but sometimes both are outa wack.
This happened to me a while ago, and I have no idea what caused it. I downloaded Opera, though, and it worked fine until the problem went away. In the meantime, you could probably get some answers on Yahoo or Google.

I usually just wait. The most this happened for was half an hour, yesterday.

This always randomly happens on CoolROM.com. Sometimes, what works is, I go to another website, then while that website's loading, I quickly tell I.E. to go to coolrom.com/forums, and it works again. IDK why.

This can happen for a number of reasons.
Is it an error 404?
Are you behind a router?
Did you empty the cache?
Did you reset your internet connection?

Did you reset your internet connection?I don't get any of that. The only one of those four that means anything to me is the error 404, page not found.

Sorry, Let me explain better.
*Error 404 if you recieve this error, it means that your browser failed to retrieve data form the site address requested. Normally this means the page is down, or your internet connection timed out.
*If you have a high speed connection, its important to know whether or not you are connecting with a MODEM/ROUTER. Routers often restrict data or certain incoming connections, and tend to give you problems from time to time, dpending on what its trying to load. (I use one). To fix this, You may need to unlpug/reset your modem/router. If this doesnt work, "surf your router" typing you "Default Gateway" ip ro "Default Router" ip. (normally something like 192.168.1.1 ) and reconfigure your router (this is comlicated sometimes, depending on your router and ISP).
*As you use the internet, your Browser stores data from everywhere you go and everything you do in it's CACHE memory. There is a limit to how much it will store, and it can become full at times, prohibiting your browser from working properly. So to fix this, you can EMPTY the Cache Memory and RESET your intenet connection at the same time to give you a fresh connection.
-To do this go to the Command Prompt (go to Run and type CMD)
-At the command prompt, type the following: IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS
-Wait for it to complete, and bring up a new command prompt.
-Now type the following: IPCONFIG /RELEASE
-Wait for it to complete, and bring up a new command prompt.
-Now type the following: IPCONFIG /RENEW
-Wait for it to complete, and bring up a new command prompt.
-Now Type: EXIT
and its done! (make sure you browsers are closed when you do this!)
Does that sound better? :) sorry I should have put it all there in the first post.
