Well, considering Ridley never was mods of the graphics forum, I'd say he was just power hungry. I guess I should just remove this, as he can't make rules for forums of which he is not mod. I would assume. If not, then I would like to add the following rules to the ROM Request Thread:

1. Only requests for ROMs may be put in here.
2. Begin all requests with "Dear Chuck Norris,".
3. End all requests with "Love, a humble underling".

Sacre bleu! ridley was a mod of Graphics back when it was made. So he made these rules. When ridley left the first time (I think it was a virus problem), he resigned from all his moderator positions. When he came back, he didn't become a moderator of Graphics again. That's how it went down.

He was basically complaining about ridley making rules for a forum that he doesn't moderate, but it is not FD"s fault that he didn't know the details. (ridley used to be a mod of this forum when he made this thread.) He has a right to complain.

This is a simple rules thread, not a grudge thread. No more posting is necessary.

I am closing this thread, because it has already gone too far for a rules thread. I also leave Fierce Deity the choice of deleting it, because, imo, rules threads are pointless. The rules are the same goddamn thing for every forum. The only forum on this site that really needs a rules thread is ROM Request, maybe Site Feedback as well, as requesting a ROM does have some details and guidelines to follow. But a graphics forum...please. Pure common sense is all that is needed. The only reason moderators post their own rules thread is because it makes them feel powerful and modlike.

As for ridley"s rules, no racism or explicit pics, I would consider that common sense, but emphasizing that does help prevent the usage of those images, so I will take that into consideration. Which is why I also won't interfere if Fierce Deity replaces this thread with his own rules thread, preferably under ridley"s permission.
