Do you want to know which games I actually bought or just downloaded?

Well I own all the GBA's (- the micro) and a DS. As for games every GBA game I have bought I got a ROM for, including Golden Sun, FF Tactics Advanced, Fire Emblem, Pokemon (yeah I said it sue me) Sonic Advanced, blah blah blah.

For DS: Mario Kart, Metroid Hunters, Wario Ware, Super Mario, Meteos, New SMB, and Advanced Wars II

Can anyone make any recommendations on what I should purchase next? I'm starting to run out of games to buy....

Aha! That text was white. :nono:

Well I haven't really gotten anything but a GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advanced, and a GameBoy SP. I'm planning on getting a PSP soon. Is it just me or is Microsoft not doing so well in games? I mean Sony released the PSP and Nintendo released the NDS, but nothing so far from Microsoft....

You should add a poll to this thread with the different handhelds on it.

I used to have a gamegear, now Its just the GBASP.

If you're saying that you work 12 hours a week, then that's why. Those don't cost too much. Just save up a little every week. I don't have a PSP, but my friend does. He bought it for 250 bucks, but now I think it's down to 200 bucks.

If they release it soon, then when the Wii and PS3 come out, everybody will be getting those. Microsoft should have waited IMO.

He bought it for 250 bucks, but now I think it's down to 200 bucks.Let me rephrase that: I work at least four hour shifts early in the morning at least three days a week but usually more. Fixed. And I don't know about you guys, but I think the PS3 is going to be surpassed easily by the Wii and the 360 until it gets far, far cheaper.

EDIT: Also, I pay rent and utilities, and buy groceries. You live at home.

Lol, well I think that the PS3 might not be bought soon, but it will later on. Most kids around here have their parents buy everything for them! I don't think that the price is going to stop anybody for more then a little while. I mean when it comes out with all those awesome games, then they'll buy it.

But about the PSP. How much does it cost now?

PSP... 150$ with older firmware? Probably more new. Anyhow, I'm not getting one because it's just a waste of cash.

Well I'm getting the PSP because of it's awesome graphics, and ablility to emulate certain consoles. That should come in handy. :D

How the **** do you afford that ****? I work four hour shifts 3 days a week and I can barely afford living costs.I'm asking myself why they have so many damn consoles. You should see Iceman's collection, he has like 15 or more consoles and crap and JESUS CHRIST, people. I only have four consoles! 20 games for the N64, 8 to 10 for Xbox, and five for my NES. Why do you people buy so many damn games? I can't speak for being able to afford them, but 20 N64 games was enough for me.

360 and Microsoft are doing just fine and will continue to do so until they make another new console. PSPs are totally worth the cash in my opinion. The DS is the system I wish I didnt buy. Icono, some people (like me) like to have alot of variety. You would crap yourself if you saw how much money I have spent on games and consoles.

I have a DS with:
Mario 64
New Super Mario Bros
Castlevania
Mr.Driller Drill Spirits

I have a PSP with:
GTA
POP Revelations
Megaman Maverick Hunter X
Megaman Powered Up
Tony Hawks Underground 2
Medievil Resurrection
Burnout Legends
Metal Gear Acid
Twisted Metal
Tekken Dark Resurrection

I have only about 5 or 6 N64 games, but I have well more than 30 PS2 games. A lot of them are really good too. Some are crappy games that my mom found on sale, but most are worth the money.

I had a GB but that was stole a long time ago.
and I broke my first GBC...:-( but I got a new one a couple of days afterwards so its cool.

Well, the PSP has the better graphics and you can run emulators on it....well depending on what firmware it has when you get it. But other then that the psp is kinda lacking in games...I've had it from lauch and I've only gotten 2 legal games.

The DS can also run emulation but I have yet to buy the stuff to do that so I don't know who that is but it does have some pretty awesome games on it. Some are Japanese but you don't really have to speak the langauge to play the games and one even has an english option.

If your going with the DS get the Lite. Its awesome and the screens are insane.

I like games. That is why I buy them. Yep. The more games, the better in my humble little opinion. My house is now saturated in games. One room, there's a computer stocked with thousands of games and a stack of DS games, the other room, there's a shoebox full of GB/GBC/GBA games, my bedroom has a few TV game thingies and my N64 collection, and my basement has stacks of GCN/Genesis/PSX/PS2/Xbox games, along with scads of little gaming doodads. It's headache-inducing, actually. But you can still have so many games and be bored of them all, at least that's true for me at times. But I enjoy collecting everything that has to do with games, and I hope to continue doing so.

I don't have a problem with variety; I'm just saying: My parents think 35 games is enough for me. I roughly agreed, but over 150 games/15 consoles/whatever is a life of gaming, depending on what the games are. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for Xbox, Game of the Year 2002, took me 2.5 years to go through. Damn, what a comprehensive game.

Yet, the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for Xbox 360 had better graphics and stuff, but there was something in it that it was missing that Morrowind had.

Well, I don't know what else to say. I don't have any handheld gaming devices (i.e. PSP/NDS), so I have nothing on topic to post.

I can speak from experience that if you want to be able to afford more games move back home and get a job at your local fast food place. Since I got my job about 5 months ago I've gotten

Sega Genesis
DS Lite (already own a regular too :) )
Spent about 1200 on my pc

Games...
Mario Kart DS
Metroid Prime Hunters
Kingdom Hearts COM
About 10 classic Genesis games

Oh and I had comcast installed in our house...

All for only 15-20 hours a week at mimumum wage :)

Ptf! If you think those are expensive, try searching for a Gizmondo or a Zodiac, around $500 for one system if your lucky.

You asked which I think is better graphically. Of course it would be the PSP. The best game I think ive seen for the PSP would be Tekken Dark Resurrection. Tekken has very good Graphics for a handheld. Dont listen to the DS lovers. PSP makes the DS look like a piece of crap. Pizzaman if you buy one of those portables soon, get the PSP. I still like the DS. But its graphics really suck and the Dual Screen and Touch Screen stuff I find very lame.

The Zodiac reminds me of this Leap Frog thingie my sister has. Anyways, if you're going to get ANY system, make sure you like the games and whatnot before you go onto graphics. Well, at least that's what I would do. PSP has great graphics, though it does have a motion blur effect to improve framerate, though it's nothing bad. The DS isn't too powerful, and I've yet to see a truely great use of the mic and touch screen (okay, one, Wario Ware: Touched). I haven't been browsing the PSP games lately, so you might ot wanna listen to me, but I found a few fun games for the DS. Like Mario Kart DS, and Metroid Prime Hunters, and WarioWare Touched, and Mario & Luigi Partners in time. However, the PSP might have better ones. Burnout Legends and GTA:LCS are cool (though GTA:LCS is now on console). The DS looks terribly outdated, though. It's lack of power may leave you cringing when you see it's sometimes crappy graphics. If you want 3D games, definitely go with PSP. DS's 3d looks too low definition to compete.

There are some really good ones. I bought THPS4 from http://zodiac.allack.co.uk/ it looks like they are now discontinuing that one. Glad I picked it up when I did.

As far as legitimate handhelds, the only one I own is the GBC.

However, I do have homebrew N64 and SNES portables.
