What are the games you've played for the longest amount of time? For me, it would probably be Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Super Street Fighter Turbo, Final Fantasy 1+2 (BTW, I'll start playing VII soon, I promise :)), C&C: Red Alert 1&2, and Command and Conquer Generals.

Probably more, but I'll add them later when I'm not caffenated as hell.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Dragon Warriors 1, 2 and 3. Awesome games.

battle feild 2, fable killzone, castvainia sypothy of the night, gta vice city (100% ohh yeh)Damn, what was that Castlevania game where you could collect cards? I spent SO MUCH time on that game back when it came out, and later on the GBA Castlevania where you can collect souls. Excellent games. The 2D PSX one was good, too.

I'm so ashamed... I've spent almost 100 hours on Pokémon Silver. I've finished Link's Awakening around 15 times... What more? Let's see... Super Mario 64 and F-Zero X I have also played a lot. Some ****ty NHL game for the snes, I think it was 93.
But the one I have spent the much time on, undoubtely, is Warcraft 3 with The Frozen Throne expansion. I've played that game for several hours a day for more than a year and I'm still not tired of it, but I'm also a mapmaker and I'm a member of several mapmaking communities.

Also, Starcraft: Brood War. I have probably logged more hours onto that game than any other game ever made, besides maybe X-Com: UFO Defense and Diablo II: Lord Of Destruction. I believe X-Com is freeware now, so you can pick it up legitly.

Kurt's thread here is about the game you spend the most time playing. so that not the same really

ps thanx Kurt for the link, I'll check the game later due to I'm still playing fire emblem right now. oh and thanx to Kameo who suplied Kurt

I played so much Doom against my friends back in the day I've still got all of the maps memorized. Ahhh, that game was Fragtastic!
I've probably spent the most time playing Madden online, against the AI
(Season mode) and in tournaments or just hanging out with friends and playing.
I also spent quit a bit of time playing Phantasy Star Online (Dreamcast)
and Evercrack (PC)
I would say that RPGs and Sports were the two genres I spent the most time playing although Super Mario Bros games were tops on my list before I started playing Madden.

Final Fantasy I & II DoSIs that Dawn of Souls or did someone hack a copy into DOS? If the former, that game is without a doubt the 3rd best GBA game of all time. If the latter,

Same here. The longest I played was for like 10 hours in one day, but it wasn't straight and it was a long time ago. Now I only play a little bit a day.

I meant Dawn of Souls.
If that's the third best then what's in second and first place?
