Ok, Ive been searching the net for quite some time trying to find out what this one game is called that I use to play at my local bowling alley.
All I can remember is that it's a futuristic racing game (kinda like FZero GX but with weapons) with graphics similar to that of an N64. In the ship selection you are located inside of a dome shaped hangar with a choice of several ship parked on a central turntable. And the steering wheel was very similar to MIDWAY's "Hyperdrive" except that the thumb buttons were for powerups.
The racing itself takes place on courses that are more like a giant, dangerous, 300+ MPH roller coasters thats hovering 1 to 200+ ft in the air. Theres one particular part of a course that I remember very well. It's a part where you are launched over a jump and coast down some 200 ft giving you a clear veiw of an upcoming left turn. And also during the race you are able to collect powerups like guns, missile, and speed boosts that can be used to take out you're opponents.
I would be extremely gratefully If anyone can tell me anything about this game and what it's called.
