Thanks for the heads up, Icono. I checked the IP of the flooder and its not the same as that user's IP, but I can't believe the account "administrator" is not on the restricted list . Anyways, I have deleted the account, and placed the name on the restricted list. Thank you all for your concern :).

lol pretty stupid idea, what was he planing on doing? fooling people into thinking he's a real admin? hah! only some of the new comers would belive it. like going from memory here, but under admin name were it say for us legend, addict stuff, doesn't say adminastrator for admin spelled right ofcrose. so that would mean that this noob(I felt the word was needed here to honor such an idiot) under his name would say newbie, so unless the people here don't understand the titles then he might of been capelbal of getting away with it. but from wghat I can tell we're not a bunch of moronic douches
keep up the good work Icono, its starting to give me some good laughs now :D

I thought of doing the same thing, just to see if I could! But then I decided against it, as we are supposed to only have 1 account, and we are not supposed to do things like that. :p

Lol, what a bright fellow. First he get's banned because of the name he uses, then he does it again! Maybe we should see how long he'll do it until he runs out of energy? :D

Admin. should contact his ISP about this, I'm sure they won't like one of their clients screwing up some website :). He obviously hacked the board, how else could he have registered like that ?? Hcking is quite easy on VBulletin boards, if U have the right tools.
Just ban his IP and contact his ISP dude, U R way too friendly sometimes. He obviously hacked the forum, it won't be long before strange things R going to happen....

He obviously hacked the forum, it won't be long before strange things R going to happen....Heh, speaking of which, I've attempted hacking VBulletin, but I probably know nothing compared to this user. Not to say I wasn't successful in hacking a couple of things, but I am not anywhere near to cracking passwords or anything, as I don't know any JavaScript. But to be on topic....
I know what you mean when you say he is too friendly! There isn't a problem with being friendly (??? obviously), and I don't think that admin was being passive. Although, I don't think there is such a thing as 'too' friendly...uh, well, I could think of a few things, but he's not like that!
Just because this user tried to register with an username 'administrator', in my opinion, is no reason to ban him. That seems a little overreacting. He/she may be trying to hack this website (unless admin somehow made a mistake in disabling this user name) by registering under this username, but I would just...hm, ah, screw that idea. Maybe banning his IP might be right under the case that the user continually persists in creating user accounts, and admin's patience with merely deleting them wears off.

I like the way how admin gets things done. it funny sometimes its almost as if he banning people with a smile with the way he always so cheer and polite. I've oonly reported one problem to him and the next time he was on he fixed it right away and PMed me to tell me so.
and as for this admin wanna be. you can't really trust some one who want there name to be admin on a forum site, you just know there up to no go. and yes this one did make a acount and its not banned...yet. lets just wait and see what happens

For all we know, it's a seven-year-old joker.

For all we know, it's a seven-year-old joker.ture, he could be. but then this will teach the young one that, that name is one for the real admin. there are alot of user on regester with wierd names like datingman, pornoooo, and others. and they never post a single thing. so I guess my piont is that we don't need to worry too much about this right now

Hey guys, thanks again for your concern. I have deleted the account that tried to steal my name, and added "administrator" to our restricted usernames list :). It's weird how vBulletin didn't have "administrator" on the restricted list of usernames to begin with. Icono is right with his point - there is no need to ban his IP just because he wanted to be like me :). He may re-register with a legit username, and get banned later for his immaturity.

Strange things I'd rather not have happen....
Anyhow, he might have been trying to register as "administrator" as a gag username, like a joke. Maybe it was his first forum and he didn't know better. Or maybe he's malicious and wants to do something evil to the forums.

Isn't that cute? BUT IT"S WRONG!!!
Anyhow, Kameo said strange thing'd be happening, and obviously somebody is messing with CoolROM's MySQL, so maybe it's best if admin reported him to his ISP.

But I also recal admin saying that it might be 100% of CoolROM or people downloading from CoolROM.com all the time. So, to me, it sounds like he's saying that this MySQL trouble may not be being caused by a hacker in particular at all, but something else. Anyway, like I said, there's nothing we can do about it, so just let him finish...if he didn't already, as the SQL problems haven't bothered us in 12 hours for some reason.

But you see, the Guest who's viewing Who's Online, if you look more closely, there's a red stop sign on the right of the text "Viewing Who's Online." That means that this user is viewing a No Permission message, so he really isn't viewing Who's Online; he's only trying to.
