A. cool but I don't like where the colors are, it coould of been made to look way cooler with the rainbow affect

The sunset, in my opinion, looks OK, a little better than image B. It looks a little standard...a bunch of blue, but I guess that's OK. I bet Kameo might vote for the sunset one.

I had a damn good occupation of creating images using Paint Shop Pro, but ever since I've been getting software errors, I can no longer make images like this. So my imaging career is over, but I am still a strong image optimist and repair person. For example, I am a strong image-EDITOR, so I fixed Kurt's old avatar (though he refused it for some reason):

JPEG can be good if you know how to use it!I guess so. That rainbow JPEG image in this thread doesn't look too bad, but maybe it's just Paint Shop Pro. It sucks at JPEG optimization. Even at full quality, the image looks SOMEWHAT blurry in someway when saving in JPEG format. I don't know why.

Well, you have to use a flattened PNG, otherwise it is huge. The JPEG I have in this thread of the Sunset is only at 72 quality. If I turned it up to 100, the little dots would go away.

Yes, you voted Iconoclast's. Mine is too fruity to get any votes I guess. I liked it, and worked rather hard on getting the effect right. I was proud that i was able to emulate water. Anyhow, I'm leaving again. see you guys later.

Iconoclast just made a rainbow and used what looks like a mask effect or something, and Pizzaman just made a basic effect. I didn't know we were grading them like that. Pizzaman's looks like a rip-off of the Windows XP wallpaper. Oh well.

Actually, Kameo, it took me 10 minutes to figure out the transparency needed to make image A. To make image A, I needed to specify 65 percent transparency on the front rainbow layer, radial, and the back rainbow layer, linear. It was just a creative masking thing I did, I guess.

That green rupee animation I made took me 6 hours to make. The Mask of Fierce Deity would have taken me a month to make...if I ever finished it. You're not the only one who works hard.
