I was never really fond of the multiplayer mode in GoldenEye...it's a little boring. Except I thought it was fun when me and my brother would play in the "Man with the Golden Gun" mode and whoever found the Golden Gun and then the other one of us could make the other player do whatever they want, or else shoot them with the gun and kill them. Although there wasn't much you could force them to do....

Oh, right! Outside of Nintendo 64! The only multiplayer game outside of N64 I really ever liked was Kung Fu Chaos.

Holy ****ing duh, I forgot SSB and SSBM. I prefer Melee, if only because the tiers are more rigid, which appeals to me for some reason.

That game's multiplayer?Yeah, and on the ROM, you can set up this multiplayer mode where Player 2 controls the enemies in all the levels. It's pretty buggy, though.

I actually like SSB better now, because you can jump higher. On SSBM they bearly jump.

I lkie SSBM i beat t before gotton everyone and played as master Hand,and SSB you can jump higher and great for Netplay i nevr lost yet still and i like Starfox 64 and a lot of other multiplayer games i like

My upmost Favorite multiplayer game is definately the classic for NES. Super mario bros. the original! i love it.. heres a list of others.

Command & Conquer - Renegade is what I play online.

Offline we play all kinds of Games, my girlfriend never played Games before so she really needs to get used to them. We play World of Illusion mostly, she loves that Game :D . Other than that we play a lot of MAME :) ....

We had pizza and a smashfest on the N64 tonight, and I like the Smashfest better, and I played Super Smash Bros. for days and days and days and I smashed to my heart's content. VERY damn fun game until you've unlocked everything, beaten everything, sort of like Super Mario 64 with that trait.

As for GameCube games like Smash Meelee, no comment, I don't have a GameCube. In fact, I used to hate it because all of my classmates are lying saying that they have a GameCube. Yeah, and it was just released yesterday! LIARS! No one was even BUYING GameCube back then, why do you think they had all of those commercials about GameCube to try and get business up? Get a NGC for $99.99, now you can hook it up on your big screen, and stuff. Everyone asking me what video gaming console do I have. At the time it was NES and N64, and they're like, dude, you know N64's old right? They shut down the factory? Says some kid who's always paranoid about the 60s and perceiving the social world in terms of generations. In my early years, I hated the world and you humans so bad!

I've got something else to say about GoldenEye multiplayer. I guess it wasn't so bad after all; I just hardly ever played it. In fact, I always used a secret invisibility code to make myself invisible behind my brother's back, and he'd be like, what the hell did you do? It was fun puzzling him.

Says some kid who's always paranoid about the 60s and perceiving the social world in terms of generations.Sounds like a stupid kid. NES, SNES & N64 were the best consoles ever, and the 60s had the best music by far. I never had an NGC, and I sure was ****ed when my friend got one from his dad.

Back to the topic... Lifeforce for the NES is an awesome multiplayer game. Does anyone know of any other good multiplayer game for the NES?

Invisibility in multi-player mode
Press L + C-Up, L + R + C-Left, R + Up, L + C-Right, R + C-Left, L + Right, L + R + C-Left, L + C-Right, L + Up, L + R + C-Down during game play.

and that works? Well, I am only 39% done with SNES fulset part one, so maybe I'll save part 2 for another day. I can even pause part 1, so let me know if anybody wants to do some netplay.

Unrelated, I just got trillian, which so totally rocks. It is a free program, so if anybody wants it, lemme know. It is a messenger for Windows that allows you to communicate with people from MSN, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, and you can even enter IRC with it.

Best multiplayer games......Halo 2, Ghost Recons (xbox), Rainbow Sixs (xbox), Project Gotham Racing 1&2. I'm a big Xbox fan <.< >.> (only owned about 3 gamecube games and 2 PS2 games. However I had 30ish PS1 games compared to 3 N64 games. Wasn't a fan of N64 untill recently thanks to emulators. Specially since their game files are so much smaller. Though I will say I am still highly disappointed in N64 because of the lack of RPG games. My favorite games to play and they have like 3 actual RPGs. Bah.)
