You can save files with Save States, and the other, "normal" saves go into your S-RAM. ROM stands for read only memory. It does just that. So, you can't edit it, you can only read it. You can however, find your save file in your emulator directory and send it along with the ROM, but you can't inject it into the ROM and make it as one.

Not the way he wants you to. Don't worry about it. Besides, then you wouldn't be able to edit the save or something stupid.

Type edit, press Enter. File/Open, open whatever kind of file you want. If the file is a text file (TXT, HTML), you should be able to open it regularly. If it contains binary (EXE, almost all other file extensions), you want to check the 'Edit Binary' box. You can File/Save, the EXE or whatever you edited will still function, unless you don't know how to edit binary. I don't! I just look in N64 ROMs for text, and I like to change it.

Just download the save files U want and look for what emulator they R, Gens save files will not work with Kega, and so on. This goes for all the emulators. Once downloaded, look for the folder where Ur emulator normaaly stores them, then copy or move the files in there, start Ur emu., load the Game and U should be good to go :) ....

Kameo, I bet you never even tried that, did you? Because I tried it, and it didn't work.
Go ahead. Download a save file for Donkey Kong 64, and see if it works. It won't. That website gives save files in N64 format. Project64 reads and writes in EEPROM, SRAM, and FlashRAM format. N64 save format is not used. GameFAQs is when playing the game on the N64 console, not emulating in on the PC. That website won't help.
