View Full Version : pokemon ruby and sapphhire wont work with VBA

im not sure what is wrong with it. i DL'ed the rom files from legit sites and the emulator seems to be the most recent version. i start up visualboy, go to file>open>click the file, and nothing happens except it says loaded battery in red letters at the bottom left hand corner. theres also some percents at the top but IDK what that is for. help?:mad2:

i also DL'ed two different emulators (NO$GBA and BoycottAdvance) and neither of those work.

This thread should belong in the Rom support section. With that said when I downloaded mine they didnt work either. You could try going to Kameos torrent download list and download it from there. Those might work, I haven't tried them yet.

U can't request for PokeMon Games, if U ain't smart enough to understand what BlueDragon said U might as well give up to begin with, I bet U didn't even look.

At any rate, U can't request for those Games, PokeMon is a protected license, and the ones U want R on GBA as well. That's even twice a no ....

I have seen versions of the games that don't work. Are you 100% sure it was legit sites?

I gave you the link to utorrent........-.-.....you can also try using www.bitlord.com thats a good torrent one also.....plus if you would of checked around on the support area of this site you would of seen there was a discussion about torrents in which you could of found the information you required...

There is no point!

Here is the solution.

Download the latest VBA then go video then Emulator then save type then there should be two options 68K and 128K click on 128K then restart VBA then play!

This is how mine worked! and also it displayed text on mortal kombat and Dragonball Z worked !

REMEMBER: there is a option in VBA called Realtime clock make sure its turned on and also the save type should be on automatic.

no my rom files were messed up. i got everything working though. thansk for the help guys. and if anyone needs the roms PM me.

i have vgba and i have all the pokemon roms and they all work just fine for me mayby you have eather installed the emu wrong or the rom file is not a rom file but a virus ? try to reinstall the emu from this site and i will send you a link to were you can get the rom from but dont keep requesting esa protected roms its agast the forums rules ok dude

i got it now it because at first the controls are not set in the correct order

Roms >>> Options >>> Joypad >>> Configures >>> 1

and change the order of keys to the ones you feel easy to use now as you know i am finding difficulty in finding all pokemon games in one website could you help me
