Hi there. I haven't tried that rom, but other ones I did succesfully burn, I fisrt had to use segacuemaker to re make the cue sheet. Some ROM cue sheets were generic. Then, I had to use a region patcher to change some of the regoins to USA and Canada. Some ROMS i downloaded were for Europe. I have gotten about 20 ROMS so far, and have succesfully burnt them to cd's and played them on my saturn (with a modchip). Just google segacuemaker (all one word) and the sma efor region patcher and you should find what you need.

i'm using a emulator i don't own a saturn that work anymore i fixed it by buring it from the CD anyways

Hi! Great site.

I've downloaded SSF today because I've been dying to play Dragon Force again but I can't get it to work. I've downloaded Bust A Move 2 here to test it and that game works fine but not the Dragon Force that I downloaded from here. I also downloaded another one from another site but the same problem. The Sega screen loads up and then it goes back to the Saturn Menu that says Track 1. Am I doing something wrong or is it the file? I'd really love to play this game again since my saturn erases saved games so I was never able to beat it. Thanks.

i have a workin copy of dragon force. you need to use the .cue file to load it if the cue file is bad i have that file you can have. replace the .cue file and then run it

I got a working version after I asked this but thanks a bunch for uploading it.
I can't believe I can finally play this game again. Now I remember that it is so addictive. I can't stop playing XD

Just wondering though, Is the sound smooth for you? My computer has never been very good so I figure that is the problem.

sound runs smooth for me ofcourse i use a sound blaster sound card

the .cue on your post doesnt work.. it gives me wrong cue format 3 error when i try to open the game, and it takes me to music player and says this disc is not suitable for this system

did you make sure in ssf your region setings are right that is a us/canada cue sheet

Hey, just registered here.

I downloaded dragon force from this site some time ago. It consists of a .cue and a .bin. It didn't work at start. It was most probably renamed after the someone made the image as the .cue contained a wrong .bin name.

Open the .cue with notepad or similiar and change the .bin name in the first line to the real .bin name you have there. For example, my .cue file looks like this (my .bin file is obiviously "Dragon Force.bin"):

INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO

I'm using Cassini because my comp doesn't support SSE2, and I got the game running, but when anyone in-game speaks,I don't see the text,anyone know a solution to this?

I also love DF and cant wait to play. But when I try to use dameon tool on the .iso file it says unable to mount.File not accessible. But I can mount the .bin file and it takes me to the sega menu (the one with "start application" and you can play music in) but when I start application it reads it, says Saga, then goes back to the menu.Can anyone help me? (using SSF7)

Thank you God!! And thank you AXCC I tried the cue you uploaded and nothing. Then I replaced your cue with my old one in my DF folder (the part I must have missed in you post) and it worked. Thanks a lot man, I cant wait to play now...I might have to quit my job :)

hi, i've been trying to play this game on my pc for a while now, but i just dont figure out the way to work this, i've downloaded loads of saturn emulators and dragon force roms, but i cant get it to work, it's to wierd, i'm used to playing gameboy and nes emulators, this is just to complicated, can someone help me, i just want to play this one game. please... please....

Find the roms yourself or post your own thread asking for rom recommendations in comsole gaming/emulation.

As for sega saturn emulators, just google emulatorzone and get the latest version of SSF.

ok so using power iso i could mount the 240 mb rom but not the 159 one
both SSF and Cassini, on the top of the main screen (saturn) it says game disc unsuitable for this system (i have the 240mb rom mounted)
update: i installed daemon tools and i could mount the 159mb version and i'm running it with Cassini, watching the intro video atm :P
(the 240mb and 159 mb refer to their compressed size)

hey I got dragon forse and I cant get it to work I can mount the bin and it loads to the sega screen then goes back to the spaceship menu thing ive tried just about everything and im dying to play it again oh and btw I tried ur cue file same thing nuthin happened so if u could help me out id be so so so stoked
