I was playing the Chrono Trigger Emulator I got from this site, and came a part where I needed to hold the L & R buttons(I have them set as 'B' & 'N') and press A('H').
I kept trying and nothing would happen. I am 99% sure I have to do this to continue.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank You.

I did catch the rat, and I went up to the shinining one and held L&R and pressed A, I wonder if it won't work on an emulator...have you gotten past it?

Go to the config menu of your emulator, and set the L,R and A buttons to one key, and then walk up to the console and press that key. You can then reset your keys to the way they were originally. If that doesn't work, set two to one key, and the other to a second key, then press both at once.
Almost all keyboards limit the number of simultaneous key presses to 2. Thus you can't hit 3 keys at once.

I dont think you need to hold down L and R and then hit A though...unless I have the keyboard that is the exception that lets me hit 3 keys at once, because I beat the game without ever having that problem.
Keyboard Test - klj aduios fa;sdjlk acnpfui apnuc ok so my keyboard seems to be able to hit all of those at once without a problem. Guess I just have the execption.

oh yeah, sholda told ya that your key board shold let ya press 3 keys at once, some keyboard have exceptions, try setting "A" to the enter key, "L" to the key with this "<" on it and "R" to the key with this ">" on it, and yes ive beaten chrono trigger MANY times, anyways i hope that helps :)

You know how you just completely bypass this all? Just go buy a controller for your PC. Makes playing games funner and easier. Thats what I ended up doing. Though I didn't get motivated to do that untill I started playing N64 games. Having a keyboard in a world that needs analog stick sensitivity isnt a good thing.
